Description

A podcasting kit with the following components is available to check out at the first-floor Hello Desk. Components are packaged into two cases: one hard-shell and one soft-shell shoulder bag. The kit includes:

• Two PodMic microphones with USB-C and XLR connections — compatible with both the audio mixer included in the kit and most computers.
• Two small microphone stands.
• Two headphones with 3.5 mm jacks and 1/4" adapters.
• One RODECaster Duo mixer with power cable, USB-C cable and XLR cables. Audio can be routed to the RODECaster from a computer using a USB-C cable or from a compatible device through Bluetooth.
• One SD card and reader. The provided microSD card should be sufficient for 10+ hours of audio recording.

NOTE: If you want to connect the RODECaster Duo to a computer, your system must be macOS 10.15 or later, Windows 10 Version 1803 or later, or Windows 11. A computer is not required — audio will be recorded directly to the SD card.

Patrons can check out one (1) kit at a time for two (2) days from the Hello Desk Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

At checkout, patrons will be given a due date and time.
