Description

Room 215 can be reserved for University Libraries division and cross-divisional team meetings or other Libraries-sponsored meetings or workshops (such as the University Libraries Committee, PDT workshops, small library instruction sessions, or Libraries working groups or task forces). When not in use, 215 is an open study space. Committees and groups outside of the Libraries may not reserve room 215.

Availability

  • Location: Room 215, Roesch Library 2nd floor
  • Access: Open to anyone when not in use; can only be reserved by Libraries faculty and staff. Open during regular library hours
  • Room must be booked 24 hours in advance. If a short notice meeting comes up, the room can be used if not already occupied.  

Amenities

  • 10 rectangular tables
  • 20 chairs
  • 2 white boards
  • Overhead projector and monitor with sound system
  • Podium station with desktop, and USB drives, HDMI/CGA
  • If you are using catering, we can set up 1-2 additional tables which are narrow and rectangular, outside of the room, if needed.

General Guidelines:

  • You may reconfigure the furniture to suit your event; however, please return the furniture to its original layout after your event has concluded.
  • Place all trash in designated trash receptacles
  • Users are responsible for their personal property. Do not leave items unattended. University Libraries is not liable for loss/damage to personal property.
  • Report any damage or equipment failures to one of the services desks (Hello Desks or Information Point on the first floor). If damage is discovered after your use, you may be held responsible for the cost of repairs/replacements.

Do you need any of the following items for your event?

If yes, please submit a request through the Reserve Equipment form.

  • Wireless presentation remote.
  • Wireless lavalier microphone — Library IT staff will set up the microphone and complete a sound check before your event. 
  • Meeting Owl 360° camera, microphone and speaker — Library IT staff can be available to set up.
