Create Your Own Research News Feed
Worried about missing an important paper published in your field of research? Come to this session hosted by research services librarian Sarah Miller to learn strategies and tools for keeping up-to-date with scholarly literature. Examples will include Really Simple Syndication (RSS), which allows content creators to publish frequently updated content such as blog posts or news headlines; and feed readers, which allow researchers to collect these updates from sources across the web in one place, without cluttering their inboxes. By the end of the workshop you'll have a personalized research news feed of your chosen content such as a specific journal's table of contents, saved database searches, and funding agency websites.
